On Friday, No Limit rapper Mr. Magic died in a serious car accident in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

According to the Times-Picayune on Friday, Magic (born Awood Johnson) and his wife were killed in the car wreck but their daughter managed to survive. The rapper died at the age of 37-years-old. Many fans and friends of the rapper expressed their condolences publicly and online. Silkk The Shocker, who was part of the No Limit roster with Magic, stated the following via Twitter, “Prayers goes to the Family and Friends of Mr. Magic. him and Wife died in a car accident last night.” Rapper Mystikal also shared his condolences via Twitter, “RIP TO MY BROTHER. MR MAGIC & HIS WIFE! GOD BLESS THEIR FAMILIES” and producer Mannie Fresh joined into the Twitter conversation, “R.I.P. MR MAGIC Please keep his family, friends in ur prayers #GreatDude #9thWard.”
